Paris obtained his acting experience at the world famous Karamu House and at the Cleveland Playhouse, both located in Cleveland Ohio. He moved to Hollywood and has appeared on television and has made several commercials.  He now makes appearances as a motivational speaker and performs as a narrator for commercials (voice overs), theater plays and presentations .

He has traveled with Muhammad Ali and has appeared in a TV movie in Japan acting as Ali. Other Movies include Mr. Mom, Disco Fever and a made for television movie called Falling in Love Again starring Elliott Gould.

Paris has authored two books,  a self help guide called I Dare You to Be a Winner and a spiritual book called What's In Your Garden..
